Waikoloa Beach Golf Course
Waikoloa Beach Golf Course serves up a diverse 18 holes of golf on ancient lava flows. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., The Beach Course is the senior of the two Waikoloa Resort layouts. It features 75 bunkers, some considerable grade changes (considering its juxtaposition to the ocean and on the resort), three bodies of water plus the Pacific Ocean surrounding the splendid 5-par at the signature 12th Hole. Crafty holes appear throughout with many quite memorable, especially at 2, 4, 8, 10 and 18. The layout meanders through and around Hawaii's second largest petroglyph field (rock carvings), ancient burial grounds and the remains of an ancient fishing village. The Waikoloa Beach Course will fulfill every golfer's Big Island golf fantasy.
